LAHORE: The government on Tuesday revised petroleum prices and increased the price of petrol by Rs 1.71, re

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said the price of petrol has been increased by Rs1.71 per litre and high-speed diesel oil will be increased by Rs1.58 per litre. for the next 15 days.
Petrol will be sold at Rs73 per litre and diesel at Rs82.

Dar added that the government will continue to provide a subsidy of Rs3 bi
llion on petroleum products.
“The new prices will become effective from midnight,” said the finance minister. During the previous fortnightly revision of fuels prices, petrol increased by Rs 2.25.
